i told myself i wanted to be a marine biologist
i wanted to save the manatees
and swim with these giant creatures of the ocean
now theirs less than 3000
but i said i would
when i grow up..
i wanted to be on stage
like michael jackson
i even learned how to do the moonwalk
on wood or carpet
with either socks or shoes on
i swore i would marry him
when i grew up.
i wanted to love
like ariel on the little mermaid
i didn't talk much
but wanted him to understand me
now i find it hard to understand myself
i said he would love me
when i grew up...

& though im unsure
im not indecisive
& im starting to believe...ill never grow up.
