pogopaloozaaa

when i was in 7th grade i begged my parents for an extreme pogo stick. i had a vision of becoming something like a pro; grinding rails, jumping off of roofs, and doing flips all on this one amazing gadget.due to safety concerns of me flying 10 feet in the air and gaining brain damage from a terrible fall my request was denied ,but i did however receive a standard pogo which i was able to consecutively bounce up and down over 1000 times;yes i counted. i can honestly say i loved that feeling of bouncing.it was a feeling of freedom, a feeling as though everything was still as the birds watched and you listened to the wind for suggestions on how high you should go.  but as life took course and seasons changed my focus was shifted from becoming  a professional pogo-sticker to other things, and when the next time i was reminded of my deferred dream i learned that  my beloved pogo stick was ruined from the rain.fortunately there are others people who have not let their pogo passion go to waste. this year the 7th pogopalooza was held in utah. one day i vow to attend and witness what i consider one of the best sport known to man.( along with dodge-ball, figure skating, and free running, and scuba diving of course.)
